Back after what has been the best month ever, except for the TWO days that it took me to get back. Heathrow was a bloody mess on Wednesday because of snow! Usually dont get much of the kind that stays on the ground there so the airport (American Airlines actually) was completely unprepared and couldnt get planes deiced. Sat on the plane for five hours on the tarmac before they cancelled the flight!

Oh bummer.

It was funny in the way that we sat on the plane for as long as the flight would have taken, but never moved an inch. Frustrating nonetheless, I was in the end delayed by 25 hours in getting home.

I wouldn't call it funny. Sitting 5 hours in a situation you enjoy is hard enough. But sitting in a cramped plane (unless it was first class), doing nothing, going nowhere, acheiving nothing. I would not find that funny, especially if the flight was then cancelled.

You're right that it wasn't fun, but I did find it funny how idiotic the whole situation was
