Hartley secures Bathurst drive
Mercedes test driver Brendon Hartley has been named as the latest addition to the field for the Bathurst 12 Hours this weekend.Hartley, who competed in the Rolex 24 at Daytona last month, will be at the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS Ultra for the United Autosports team – the same team that will run former F1 racer Mark Blundell in the British GT Championship this year.The 23-year-old New Zealander will share the car with Mark Patterson and Alain Li and said he was excited about making his debut at the famous Australian circuit.“As a Kiwi I have always wanted to race at Bathurst so I am very excited that I have this opportunity,” he said. “It will also be my debut in a GT car with the...
