Raikkonen had allergic reaction before Bahrain GP start

Kimi Raikkonen’s biggest problem during the Bahrain Grand Prix was not whether his tyres would last enough or whether he had adequate downforce on his car. Lotus issued a statement after the race stating that the Finn suffered from an allergic reaction before he started the Grand Prix, in which he finished second, 9.1 seconds behind the leading Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel. Although he has never won the Bahrain GP in his eight attempts, he however has the most number of podiums registered at the Sakhir circuit, adding a sixth to his tally in Sunday. “Second is obviously better than third place but we haven’t won and that’s what we try to do,” Raikkonen...
