(= As said above: M/E in F-1 (agruments and facts).

What is role of M/E in F-1. What it was in past days and what is now ?

THe List of GP Winners basically consists of 3 parts:
1-Drivers / 2-Teams-Chassis / 3-Motors-Engines
But list of M/E is the shortesr of three ! (fact)
Maybe this can tell us about (highest) role of M/E in F-1 ? (argument)
Idea: F-1 Racing always were/are/will be competition of M/E and only then Drivers/Teams.
Argument: "Aerodynamix (chassis) are for those who cannot make (built) M/E" © E.Ferrari
In some time i gonna show some stats and examples. Anyway this topic is much wider ...

(= And now we can vote in this Poll and discuss opinions. Agruments and Facts.

The engine was less of a factor when 3/4 of the grid used cosworth motors. It's more important these days.

The engine importasnce in those day was 3\4. Oke. 75% is much more than 50%. Heh-huh.
If Ford\CosWorth could refuse to supply engines - 3\4 of the grid - is much of a factor ...

The main battle: Ford / Ferrari (1966-1985) 20 years !

Wins (GP): 155 / 51
More Wins (whole season): 16 / 3 (in 84 was tie 0/0)
Cups (Titles) 10 / 5

To make fast engine for 1 team is far more easy task than for helf a peleton. So my vote goes to Ford.
