  1. Ok, Some Changes Are Required For Next Year, And They Are....

Hmm some good points there on the 3 car thing. Although blocking for a team mate will be hard with DRS. But I still like my points system better.
  2. Ok, Some Changes Are Required For Next Year, And They Are....

    Fair call about the teams leaving. I strongly disagree with the points system. I thought of a better one. Position Points Difference 1 465 2 435 30 3 406 29 4 378 28 5 351 27 6 325 26 7 300 25 8 276 24 9 253 23 10 231 22 11 210 21 12 190 20 13 171 19 14 153 18 15 136 17 16 120 16 17 105 15 18 91 14 19 78 13 20 66 12 21 55 11 22 45 10 23 36 9 24 28 8 25 21 7 26 15 6 27 10 5 28 6 4 29 3 3 30 1 2
  3. The Points System needs to give points to all the finishers The current points system is absolutely ridiculous. I saw a graphic on the Brazilian race, that had the three teams with zero constructors points etc, yet one had just passed the other team due to better results. How is that even remotely interpreted by the average fan? How does that make it easy to understand what has happened in previous races? The teams that get no points are obviously racing for championship money, but the points system should reflect this. Also the drivers should be rewarded exponentially for higher place finishes right down the field. Here is my proposed points system: Position Points Difference 1 100 2 90 10 3 82 8 4 76 6 5 72 4 6 68 4 7 64 4 8 60 4 9 56 4 10 52 4 11 48 4 12 44 4 13 40 4 14 37 3 15 34 3 16 31 3 17 28 3 18 25 3 19 22 3 20 19 3 21 16 3 22 14 2 23 12 2 24 10 2 25 8 2 26 6 2 27 4 2 28 2 2 29 1 1 30 0 1 Number of cars per team: Each team should be able to field 3 cars. This way the racing will be more exiting as the top four teams which are usually competitive will have a total of 12 cars = much more excitement. Also they need to get rid of the HRT's etc that join, run around in last place, and then leave due to lack of money. How they are going to do that I have no idea, but they are a waste of space.
  4. Is It Me Or Is Vettel Looking Ordinary....?

Not as bad as Massa tho.
  5. Kimi Returns - So What?

    ummm, suck it?
  6. Brilliant article about Bogan Bernies Billionaire Butt-ugly offspring http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity/labor-mp-kelvin-thomson-slams-the-50m-cost-of-the-f1-gp-saying-it-is-bankrolling-the-lifestyle-of-bernie-ecclestones-billionaire-bogan-daughter/story-fn907478-1226298931082
  7. Kimi Returns - So What?

Q: How's your motivation? KR: There's always talk about my motivation, written by people who don't know me and couldn't have an idea on how strong my motivation is. If I didn't feel I had the motivation, I would stop. My feeling is that I probably drove some of my best races in my last season in Formula One and I was very happy with my performance. I've never had any issues with motivation.
  8. Kimi Returns - So What?

Me and him are pretty close. You know, hang out a lot, go out, see the sights and stuff. *Realises he shouldnt be making his fantasies public. Too true.
  9. Kimi Returns - So What?

Its total crap. Anyone would think, with the amount of fuss they make over the changes to the tyres, that they were using square wheels or something this year compared to when he was last racing. What about rally? Every single event is completely different to the last. Adjustment anyone? PS Brad you cant have Kimi, hes mine.
  10. Kimi Returns - So What?

Its funny to read all these articles and expressions of opinion from old drivers and experts etc about how Kimi will struggle to adjust to F1 again. I call bs. Hes fast, full stop, he was fast off the bat at the start of his career in F1, he didnt have to adjust then, and he wont have to adjust now. hes not over the hill yet, unlike Schumaker.
  11. Kimi Returns - So What?

Hes a bit older, hes seen the grass isn't always greener on the other side, hes had time to get away from racing for the first time in his life, and hes probably more comfortable with himself as a man as he enters his 30s.
  12. Can You Hear It?

  14. Excuse My Ignorance - Testing Question

  15. Kimi Returns - So What?

Look, either way, whether the old school guys here who learnt to use a browser so they could type in this forum, or the younger, edgier, less patient more in your face guys are right. Kimi is good for the sport, lets enjoy him and see what he can do. I wonder if he has bought up some of the team? To the old school guys, here's some keyboard short-cuts you may find useful, saves time for making cups of tea and lighting the fire. http://browsers.about.com/od/tipstricks/a/browsershortcut.htm
