Will Zanardi drive again?

[heavyweight 0]

Hi all

Does anyone think Zanardi can ever race cars again once he gets used to his new prosphetic legs?

It was such a tragedy what happened to him, but I am glad to see how he has taken it all, it must really take a man of character to be so brave and positive after that.

Also, have any other drivers lost legs and come back and raced again?

I think he can very possible come back and do Touring Cars, DTM or whatever - cars could be converted quite easily, I should think...

And you never look for a precedent in motor racing!

I agree with Sam.

This guy is a fighter and a survivor, and if he wants to race again then i'm sure he will.

Yeah, it would be great to see him come back and race in some form or another.

This guy is a true fighter and it was refreshing and inspiring to see his attitude following his crash.

If anyone can do it, he can.!

It seems Zanardi is already back behind the wheel of his BMW

Apparently Alex gets into his car in a very unique way....he climbed into the boot, pulls his wheelchair in after him, folds it and packs it away, then he climbs through the gap between the two front seats..and he's off !!![

He's not looking too bad considering how recently he was on the brink of death

yeah and that was only just over two months ago!
