cost cutting in F1

Well this seems to be more of a necessity than a need as I see It. Having just read about Williams new Wind Tunnel , no mention of cost, but the list of materials used would point to a HUGE amount, one wonders how it can be justified when in reality the team MAY gain a few seconds a lap, even give em 10 seconds a lap, the cost would be hard to submit to the bank manager for a loan I would think :shock:

How could teams like Minardi / Jordan etc afford such a device ? It probably represents the whole of their budget just for a wind tunnel ???

i sore some pic of it on RPM on sunday. it looks soooooooooooo nice. just the all white make it look good. lets hope Wiliams can get it going and get the FW27 in there ASAP.
