December 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2001 Not so long ago, Ferrari created its own colour known as Ferrari Red. When they received sponsorship from Winfield, they changed the colour of the car. So what car colour is being used in 2001? And what is the difference between the colours? I couldn't really see anything new. And why can't you go and buy the colour Ferrari Red at a paint store? Kingly 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2001 I think you will find it was Marlboro and not Winfield (Williams had the Winfield livery) that caused the color change The red that Ferrari use now is the same color red as on the Malboro ciggy packs. Money talks in F1, and it talked Ferrari out of some of its heritage IMO.
