daz 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Definitely time for Mclaren to put DC out to pasture. I think he has lost his will to win and having Raikkonen out qualify him all the time cant be good for his motivation. As for Renault beating Mclaren this year - I'd say its allmost definite. Well done to Button for showing DC a thing or two in San Marino. Without some significant improvements being made (and fast) I'd say Mclaren could end up fighting it out for 4th with Sauber. nichosnz 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Well about that McLaren vs Sauber, that is actually quite possible. I don't know how many of you noticed (most I hope) but Martin and James didn't comment on the gap between McLaren and Renault before the Sauber stops, as they were concentrating on the Renaults vs Saubers. The McLarens were only just out of the shots where we were shown the R's & S's, if fact they appeared in a couple of them. The McLaren's were holding up the Renault and Saubers, and if the stops had been a few laps later they would also have been holding up the BAR's as well.
