Kimi: 'We'll be even better at Indy'

Kimi Raikkonen has warned that McLaren will be even stronger at next weekend's U.S. GP than they were at Montreal.

Despite taking victory in Canada, Kimi says that the true pace of McLaren will only be in evidence at Indianapolis.

"Indy will suit our car better than this circuit, which hasn't been our strongest," Raikkonen declared. "Our car has always been good there."

"I think we were pretty strong in the race anyhow here and hopefully we can get both cars to the finish at the next race and try to catch up more on the Renaults, that would be good."

Montreal would have witnessed the Flying Finn's fourth successive win had it not been for his last-lap suspension failure at the Nurburgring two weeks ago.

Nevertheless, he has trimmed Fernando Alonso's World Championship lead to a more manageable 22 points and appears confident that he now has the equipment to land his first title.

"We got those ten points back and we're definitely back ion the championship - and fighting for it again," said Kimi.
