jjoseph 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2005 A list of twenty dates for next year's F1 calendar was published last weekend, but Bernie Ecclestone has stated this does not mean there will be twenty races. The reason for the extra dates - Bernie says there might be 17, 18 or 19 races, is that there are some potential date clashes to be sorted out with major events such as the Football World Cup and the Commonwealth Games, the latter due to take place in Melbourne, around the traditional date for the opening Australian Grand Prix. The dates and possible venues are as follows: March 12, Bahrain March 19, Malaysia April 2, Australia April 16, San Marino April 30, Spain or France May 14, Spain or France May 28, Monaco June 4, Nurburgring June 18, Canada June 25 Indianapolis July 2, unknown July 16, Britain July 30, Germany August 6, Hungary August 27, Turkey September 10, Belgium September 17, Italy October 1, Brazil October 15, Japan October 22, China.
