Yoong did it.

Well he tryed as hard as he could but Yoong couldn't win the Historic GP in Monaco  He managed to hold onto the lead for 3 of the last four laps with his car stuck in 5th.  Yoong managed to keep it together to come home second.  Driving four laps in Monte Carlo with only 5th gear, and only conceding one place, very impressive.  The other cars weren't far behind, as his problem occured behind the Safety Car.

Remember though Jens he will be back in the Minardi though so we had better give him a bit of grace in the matter.

Not that there is much in it though. In 1973 the Lotus 72 went around 81mph around Monaco over a race distance in 2001 the Minardi went about 86mph so it is quite close between the two of them.

Well, Yoong crashed it. And did about 10x worse than Webber. But I still have more respect for him for the historical race.

Webber did well didn't he the only team that had both cars ahead of him was Toyota.  Both Saubers, BARs, Jaguars and Arrows were behind as well as 1 car from each unmentioned team.
