True, Coulthard has not suffered from bad reliability at all this season. Shame it's always Raikkonen, he could have had third with better pitstops from the stormtroopers and no engine failure.

Yes McLaren have to get KR used to this podium business, as he is going to have to put up with a lot of them in the future. So they have to build him a more reliable car.

I believe that the MP4-18 car will be able to challenge the Ferraris on a more regular basis. They now have John Sutton, Coughlan, Newey, and a whole bunch of people to help them out.

We can but hope. I think that Mclaren have definitely made some big improvements since the start of this season. Hopefully they can keep it up into next year as I'm looking forward to seeing some actual racing again (Provided Ferrari can still win of course )....

They do make it boring! Actually that's just Mclaren's and Williams fault for not keeping up.

Ferrari still needs 2 more DWC to catch up to Williams and 4 to catch up to McLarens acheivements since 1977, the second half of the championship. Ferrari have 5 (77,79,00-02), Willaims have 7 (80,82,87,92-93,96-97) and McLaren 9 (84-86,88-91,98-99).

The CWC is a bit more even though McLaren have 7(84-85,88-91,98), Ferrari 8 (77,79,82-83,99-02) and Williams 9 (80-81,86-87,92-94,96-97).

So with the DWC at least you will have to be patient for another couple of years. Till we catch up.
