Haha! Well since you have been there I must believe you, but cant tell until the tickets go on sale. The Bahrain track has bee designed by Hermann Tilke, same man behind Sepang, new Hockenheim, new Nurburgring. No wonder it bears so much resemblance to the Sepang circuit.

On the matter of Indy, yes nichosnz, it would be twice on the oval and twice on the infield. The track would use turns 1 and 3 of the oval, and then a little extra bit to rejoin at the hairpin.

I dont really know, but I think it's a clockwise track so another tight first corner can be expected.

I dont like that track, it will be another pointless race that doesnt deserve F1. We need classic tracks, no need to build new ones, just renovate the old ones!!!! Great ones all around Russia and Australia and so forth.

There are a lot of classic circuit that don't get used for F1 anymore or have never. What a pity we can't change that.

How great would it be to have an F1 calendar that changes every year? For example none of the tracks this year will be used next year and so forth..

Similar to what I suggested last week but even more extreme. UK would be 'forced' to upgrade Donington or Brands for example. F1 may return to South Africa etc. Bernie won't let it happen though, as it will mean he has to lower his fee. Due to some circuits closing saying we can't afford not to have a race every year.

That is true, for example I dont know where the Hungaroring would get its money from without a yearly F1 race. But it would be nice, I'd like to see some classic old tracks back in F1, such as a renovated Reims from the 60's, or some old street circuit layouts. I still think the Finnish GP should be on the calendar with the race on the Helsinki street circuit thats put up every year for the International Touring Cars. Great track, a nice city backdrop and no worry about lack of spectators or money/revenue drawn from the race. The Rally of Finland draws more money than any other sporting event in Finland (World Ice Hockey Championships excluded, they are to be held in Helsinki next year and ticket sales have already exceeded the Rally of Finland for the past two years.)
