Crash

DC says Schuey retire

Recommended Posts

Well the latest is, Blockjaw(aka DC) thinks Michael should retire now....lol

He thinks he should be spending more time with his family, instead of blowing him away on the track i guess....lol

I would have thought DC would have kept his mouth shut from now on, after losing his slanging match with Eddie, final say Eddie 3rd Monza. DC, where did he finish again?

Anyway maybe DC should stop changing feet, and just keep trap shut.

He also says that Kimi is faster than he is because, the car suits Kimi better than it does him.....

Hehe, at least he`s entertaining in his excuses

Cheers Crash

I think he is trying to convince himself Crash, as much as the rest of us.

And about MS retiring, it's not just DC, most of the field wan't him to retire. The main two I can think of that don't are RB, still learning from him, and JPM, wan't to beat him to the DWC on track rather than wait till he retires.

Raikkonen responded to DCs statements in the Finnish press and said the car was designed around DC, so why would the car suit Kimi better? But he didn't want Schumi to retire, he had the same reason as Montoya.

Coulthard is definitely trying to convince himself of something, because when you lie for long enough you start to believe it yourself.

:D:D:D

Here's a thought - Maybe DC should be the one retiring.... Lets face it, he can't even touch his own teammate these days never mind actually challenge for the WDC....

Rather than complaining, and putting his foot in it, maybe he should. He is becomming more of a motor mouth than Eddie Talkaholic Irvine.

Hey Nichos, loved your description of Eddie , the talkaholic :-)

Well my interpretation here is that David Coulthard is a good driver, one that HANGS around, sort of like a bad smell, He is a Scotsman , and well having lived there I love the scots, I have a personal likening to him or maybe his place of Birth. BUT he WAS outshined by Mika and IS being outshone by KIMI, a far less , one would expect, experienced driver then D.C.

It is not easy to say but I very much doubt that D.C will ever be world champion even if M.S was to retire, he just does not seem to have that EXTRA bit that differentiates from a TOP driver to an ALSO ran.. I think he is more then capable, but seems to loose the edge mid race !!!!

As far as I can see - it would take MS, RB, JPM, RS & KR to all retire immediately before DC could have a realistic shot at being WDC. Even then he would probably be pushed by the likes of JV, JB etc...

Well if he concentrates better than he is now, maybe in a better car he could have some small kind of chance. But that doesn't seem to be happening, and I see Heidfeld taking over from him after 2003.

Although daz, you vacated the Ferrari, Williams and other McLaren seat so filling them up with drivers like HHF, NH, GF, FA, MikaS. Will make it harder for DC even then, but a coulpe of them have less experiance, that may help DC.

To win the DWC DC needs to have the car perfect at every race, which is almost impossible (except for the Ferrari :D !) He can be faster than Schumi, examples are France 2000 and Brazil 2001, but the car needs to be just right for him to do so.

WOW you guys/gal have sure sold D.C down te preverbial Plug Hole !!!

I don't think he is anywhere near as bad as you perport.... maybe he has an upstart team mate that MAKES him look bad, but Kimi is no shinning star in my opinion, and well If I was to say when Kimi would become World Champ !!!!! all I can say is that it will be a lot of Xmas's before he will achieve that.. as for D.C, well not quite so many :-)

Yeah I suppose we are making him sound worse than he really is.. However I still maintain that he isn't and never will be World Champion material.

Hes not exactly a bad driver, but a good driver without the championship material, but good enough to win races. Maybe he will win some year, but I personally dont see it happening.

I have to agree with daz and Jens, DC is a (very) good driver, but if he is ever DWC, I feel he will owe a lot of that to luck.

Yes Jens both of them his good luck and other bad luck.

Niki Lauda, is now saying MS should retire. His reasons? Michael must be getting bored of winning all the time by now.

While today Michael himslef said that he is not getting bored at all! I think Lauda does have a point though, but MS must really be living it up! :D

He certainly doesn't have any motivation problems, I dont know if I could keep it up after having won almost every race. I know, using computer games as an example, that I get bored when it gets too easy.

I know that feeling too, but only when winning all the time, easily. If there is even just a slight challenge I'm still interested.
