RedBaron 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2001 I thought it was pretty crap, I tried it at ITV's site you cant chat because people are never there and when they are they just run away, the areas take too long to load - you can get trapped in between people, and the chat is too slow and there is more wrong with it, i just cant remember it all. GeoffandSandy 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2001 Thanks RB. I was wondering if my steam powered 166 Mhz machine would cope with a 300 Mhz requirement (it usually does as I run on an NT OS) but from what you say I will have to give it a miss until I get a faster processor. TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2001 Hahahaha, yea it is pretty needy. My P2-300 runs it fine, especially with an ADSL connection. Only problem is that my ADSL is very unreliable, hence sometimes my newsposting is almost unexistant.
GeoffandSandy 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2001 I borrowed a 800 mhz, all the bells & whistles machine & had a bit of a stroll around. Must say I'm disappointed. Slow, no-one to talk to, easy to walk under an awning & get lost, poor graphics & most of all, childish. Make a great platform for a kids game. I can imagine 10 year olds really enjoying it. Our TotalF1 forum is a far better vehicle for chat without all the pointless wandering about. Still, nice try, better luck next time.
