2 Indy 500 Winners On Podium

I was thinking about the Spanish GP result and it occured to me that it was a very, very impressive three drivers.

Michal Schumacher a tripple word champ and Villeneuve and Monty, both CART champs and Indy 500 winners.

I also then wondered if an F1 podium has ever been graced by 2 Indy 500 winners at the same time before..does anyone know?

I think so. I think Andretti and someone else in the early nineties im not sure really. I was thrilled to see JV and monty on the podium, though I couldnt really rejoice after what happened to Hakkinen...

JV was also F1 WDC, so we had

4 x F1 WDC + 2 x CART.
