AshR 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2003 I have always been a firm supporter of anything British, and it was good to hear that Bentley came in 3rd and 4th at the very first American Le Mans that they have entered. TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2003 That was a good race, but mind you Bentley and Johnny Herbert I think would have won if it weren't for them having been sent to the back of the grid! Very good performance, I watched 9.5 hours of the whole 12, and also good work from Mika Salo in the Audi! Can't wait for the 24 hours, I think it should be even better! AshR 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2003 9.5 hours! I think that they would have won as well, they were really impressive. I'm really getting into this Le Mans scene now, I cant believe that I have been missing it all of these years...
TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2003 The exact feeling I had when I started following the WRC full-time in 2000! The World Rally scene is really simply fascinating, great stuff!
AshR 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2003 I have had mixed information about Audi pulling out of the Le Mans, I would imagine that this would only be a partial move, and can only be good news for Bentley. Have you got any confirmed information about this?
