Hi Jens well written comment there but I some how feel that the result MAY have been different had not been the intervention of the ruling on Mass Dampers !

It has been stated elsewhere that "Renault" have used this system for like ages and therefore designed a car AROUND the system, whereas the other teams, I suspect, no I will name, Ferrari. have just ADDED it to their already developed car, and it did not have the same impact on the handling!

To me I smell a very big RAT here, no one will ever know of course, but IF you were manager of a team that was not doing so well, apart from a win or two here and there, would you not try to cause some controvertial decission that would benefit YOUR team ? I am sure every team will do this.

F1 is after all a developing Formulae and as such it should be allowed to develop, within guide lines for sure, but when a new idea is ACTUALLY fitted to a race car, and it proves to work,and has past scruteneering in the past, it appears to me the powers that be want to squash it, with some lame excuse, in what appears to be -- none of the others have that system, so you will be penalised !!

Are the FIA and the other controlling bodies trying to stop teams from any development work that one day MAY, and it has in the past, been handed down to the average "Joe Bloe" when he buys his motor car ?

I would dearly love to see F1 going along the lines of ALTERNATIVE power, thus providing a very Huge spin off to the average public and the earth as a whole.

Dont apologise for making a comment and don't complain about being criticized for the comment. That's the way it works. If you post factually incorrect stuff, and expect a medal you're probably better off elsewhere..

Have you seen the amount of abuse ykick is getting in the Button thread? wonder what it takes to scare him away? A post based purely on conjecture that gets every single fact wrong is rubbish.
