No complaints from my side. This years race was a shambles so I really don't mind if Brazil is dumped. Bernie seems to like South America though so chances are the race will go ahead though. <_

I hope Brazil doesn't go, I'm keenly awaiting 18 races for next year! That is also why I am strongly hoping that Canada can muster up the cash so that they'll be on the calendar as well - otherwise if both go we'd be right back at 16!!! :o

yeah but Bernie will cobble together a few extra tracks, like maybe a dash around Red Square or a "Run the Riots" in Pakistan, who knows he may even opt for Bathurst

Speaking of Bathurst the 24 hour event is coming shortly I think 22/23 Nov, web page is www.bathurst24hr.com.au

Hey we have our Model Car 1/5th State titles next w/end , 30 mins of all out racing, looking forward to that :D

Although there are rumours that this action is being instigated by key people in the Rio bid, so if true the loss of Interlagos would not be at the expence of Brazil.

 I'd be one p**sed off R.B. if I didn't get a chance

to win a home GP, maybe if they run at Rio his luck will change B)

P.S. It's nice to be out of the bar-b-que pit for a day or 2, I've

been looking at more burned up homes than one should see in a lifetime

one chap had his collection of vintage race cars turned into a pile

(pool?) of rubble incl. 2ea 50's era Offy powered sprint cars, a'64-'66

Offy Champ cars both raced at Indy,a Pensky-McLaren driven by

Peter Revson,a Lotus 79, a Ferrari GT40,Mercedes Gull Wing,Porsche

912, Nissan GTP driven by G. Brabham,Jag GTP driven by Tom W.

plus pictures and other race stuff all stored underground but when

his house colasped on top it breached the roof and once the fire had a way in it didn't take but 40 mins. to destroy it all in my area a total of

330,000 ac. burnt to charcoal, flames 75-100' high jumping across 10

lanes of freeway in some places100-150 homes gone in a hour, unreal :(:(
