Barrichelo signs with ferrari?

:?: I read that barrichelo might sign with ferrari for 2 years. A lot of people think that this will be bad for him because Rubens will always be no 2 and with Schummie he will never be no 1 or even be able to win any championships. Maybe Barrichelo should go to another team, but I suppose the money that Ferrari offers him cannot be ignored.

He also has the problem of where will he go if he doesnt sign again with Ferrari.

I guess there will be a free Williams seat, but I cant see Rubens in a Williams...

I dont know that I have said that about every name that has come up :wink: but to be honest I dont see Rubens as a Williams driver. I guess I can see Webber @ Williams, I can also see Button.

I would love to see Alonso or Fisichella there but to be honest I would have rather Montoya stayed there although I feel his move to McLaren even if it is (it seems) money motivated isnt a bad move for the Columbian.

I am one who hopes Rubens will stay at Ferrari on the condition that he is honestly able to go full-out for a championship. That said, should another team offer him a better deal with a good chance at a championship, then I can also see him there! I've so come to familiarise myself with Rubens in a red suit though, that it's hard to imagine him leaving the team, and I don't think he wants to.

Button will probably be high on the Williams' list, but if BAR does what they should do this year, take a huge step, then maybe he may want to stay there.

There was an article in the December F1 Racing mag that claimed that the BAR 005 was better than the McLaren MP4-17D, and that the only reason McLaren beat BAR was the Michelin tyres. If this is true BAR should produce quite a season this year as they have signed with Michelin.
