See how Geoff Willis reckons the tusks on the Williams FW26 are an old idea that they toyed around with years ago but disregarded because the benefits of it where so small?

Willis clearly mentions the charactistics of Michelin tyres. Yet does not state how long ago Williams previously looked at tusks. They could have been Bridgestone or even Goodyear days. The benefits could well be a lot greater now.

yes, that is true. I wonder how long ago they considered them.
