Barrichelo - best choice for Ferrari?

[marina 0]

 After Barrichelo signed up with Ferrari for another 2 years, Schummie and Ferrari said at the news conference that there was no better choice for Ferrari.

How can this be? I am no mad. There are so many good drivers and much better then Barrichelo, and now they say there is no better choice? Sure the other drivers mught have a contract for 2005 but money can buy them out of thse contracts.

This must have been the joke of the year.

in recent years, Barrichello has been the best team mate for schuey. he has towed the team line, moved over when told to, protected his read and has been there to pick up the pieces should anything happen to schuuey in a race.

I do think there is more to this though, and I believe Schuey will call it quits after this season (if not during) and Ferrari need a driver who knows the team and is reliable to mentor the new line of Ferrari blood.
