I dont understand Bernie Ecclestone. First he said that he is working to move more Gp from Europe, as Europe will be a 3rd world country in 10 years.

Now he has changed the starting time for the Brasilian Gp from 2pm to 3pm because of the European Television viewers.

I dont understand, he wants European races out but he wants European viewers in?

F1 is biggest in Europe so it makes sense to make it viewable at a decent time there.

He wants to move away from hosting races there as the sponsorship potential for the teams has been diminished by the stance on ciggy ads.

The decision to have the Brazilian GP as the last race of the season is a smart move. I think that GP is on around 5:30 pm here in Britain and this will guarantee large viewing figures – I do feel sorry for the other countries though as people have told me their times are not convenient.

F1 in my opinion needs to stay firmly in Europe; this is after all where the championship was born. However, I also want a global championship and believe that F1 would be more attractive to new and existing sponsors as well as car manufacturers if we ventured into new countries and thus new markets.

Bernie wants it like this.... racers for europe but NOT in europe. saying that europe will be a third world state in 10 years is laughable, and proves the man is slowing losing focus.

Europe has been then center of modern civilaztion for over 10,000 years... i dont think its going to change now. just because of the internet (which is basically american) and Fag advertising (which is mainly britished owned!4 out of the top5 cigarette firm are british) isnt going to move to the world power. Please

just cuz china has loads of people doesnt mean s##t. we have the ideas and knowledge and technology here. i mean did you know that only 1 in every30 people has a phone let alone internet. these other countries have a long way to go before power moves away from europe/Nato.

bernie (i feel) says this stuff to help max with europen union! nothing else, how many major car or computer or anything comes from india or china or any of the countries outside of europe/Nato?

I think the reason Bernie likes events like China, Bahrain and Malaysia so much is because of the HUGE investment their countries give for building an F1 track. How much money does our government give for F1? The large investment provides state of the art facilities and great tracks as well as the fact that having F1 tracks in these exotic countries opens up new markets which will extract new and existing sponsors as well as car companies.
