Wot No Jos ?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what the 'personal' reasons are which caused Jos to not to test at silverstone.

my speculative guesses are

1) Pantanos backers have come up with the readies therefore no seat available

2) He hasnt been ooking after himself and has again refused a fitness assessment

3) Current pace of the car suggests he would rather test a new nissan micra

4) Hes had another row with Michael Peridon ..

Anyonoe got any harder information ?

Jos claims that his seat wasn't optimal, and I tend to believe him.

Raymond Vermeulen, one of his managers, claims that Jordan told him in Monace last week that the seat-fitting problems, that occurred at the fitting a few weeks agi, could not be resolved.

What in effect has happened is different, I think, but we will never know.

Some options.:

- Sponsor Trust has an exclusivity agreement with Jos until the end of the 2005 season. Any sponsoring without Jos will result in the need for Jos's approval. Which Jos is obviously not going to give.

The public quarrel that happened in February was "resolved" only because there was in effect this agreement. But Trust has now found a way to tell Jos he broke an agreement, and therefore this contract should be void.

Then there is the other one, indeed:

- Pantano's backers have indeed paid up around the Monaco GP, which means that there is no seat available at Jordan for Jos

Jos' chances are ONLY, if you ask me, as a tester (Ferrari, Toyota, BAR -but not the friday tests) or a seat (internediate or next season) at Toyota.

Hope to see him back soon:-)

who cares??!!

Not many people too be fair, except every Dutch F1 fan and all of Australia who want to see those kangaroo powered Minardis whizz past any car driven by the not-so-brilliant-but-troubled heavily sponsored racer.
