Bridgestone have one main goal for the remaining races of the season and that, quite simply, is to win them all.

The Japanese tyre manufacturer has already claimed 12 of this year's 13 race wins through Michael Schumacher and Ferrari. And although a perfect season is not possible as a result of Michelin-shod Renault's win in Monaco, Bridgestone are still hoping to end the year with a near perfect record.

"To win the remainder of the races and to keep strengthening the relationships between Bridgestone and its teams so we can develop a greater understanding of their needs," said Technical Manager Hisao Suganuma when asked what Bridgestone's goals were.

"Ferrari has just won the Constructors' Championship and we are now working towards the Drivers' Championship. The end of the season is also very important for Sauber, Jordan and Minardi as they strive to win as many points as possible and we need to support them in this goal."

"In addition to the immediate future, we also need to start thinking about next year and the implications of changing the regulations. While they have not actually been finalised yet, it is likely that the regulations will mean that we need to prepare and test tyres with more durable characteristics. It will be an exciting challenge for us."

Well, as long as MS is around, along with a brilliant Ferrari car and crew supporting him, I don't think Bridgestone have to worry about setting near perfect records( and oh, this is not the first time Bridgestone shod Ferrari is dominating the season- they did win, how many races was that in 2002, 15 was'nt it, I guess it must be very little for them obviously :x :x ). As far as I am concerned MS can worry about records this season, Bridgestone has already achieved it.But having said that, I kind of admire their attitude and commitment to racing.

Do you actually care that Ferrari dominance is having a very negative affect on F1 and that the spectacle is suffering as a result? I can understand you wanting Ferrari/Michael Schumacher to win the Championship in the end but don

I disagree with you on both issues there. For many people, the 2003 F1 season restored faith back in F1

8) World wide it's up aprox 5% with even bigger gains in some of the Euro Countries that don't have the big #'s. maybe the Brits are packing it in-game over-but the world doesn't revolve around Your or our F1 ratings.

This getting so old build cars that can beat the Ferrari's or drink your warm beer and close your yaps. :wink:
