I know the other JV fans would be quite happy if JV went to Sauber but although Sauber is a team with strong links to Ferrari and one that is currently progressing in F1, they are still not a top team and JV would have very little hope of earning a genuine podium with the Swiss team. I honestly can't see JV at BAR with DR at the helm. It's just me, but I really can't see how JV could trust the guy. Ive read elsewhere that DR has been talking to almost every other driver re. Buttons spot, almost an anything before Jacques attitude. He approached Hakkinen, who wasn't interested apparently. DR is trouble, just look at this whole Button saga.

Well, 'nojvnof1' I fail to see how MS would ever allow JV as his team mate. Gosh, when Bernie suggested it last year he stamped on it right away. He fears JV,look you :idea: .However, if JV can get a drive next year, it will be the best thing that can happen to the sport.

I like JV for his driving style and his no BS approch to dealings in F1, a sport that is getting to be 'watered down' by drivers that can't really drive at that level - TakumaS., ChristainK., etc. If Sauber takes JV it will only help his career for 2006. I'd like to see Honda go downhill after this year because they opted TS over JV - a champ!

I can't see it happening either, but there will always be a lingering shadow over M$, he's never had a good teammate and is often criticised for that, if he allows Ferrari to hire JV and beats him then that problem will be gone. Like I said , can't see it happening, just reporting what was stated.
