Toyota will launch their new car in Barcelona at the beginning of next month.

The TF105 will be unveiled at the Circuit de Catalunya on January 8, the team confirmed on Monday.

Toyota have high hopes for 2005 after a disappointing campaign this year.

The new car will be the first design that highly-rated technical director Mike Gascoyne has overseen from the start.

Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher will drive for the team in 2005.

Last year everybody expect miracles from toyota, but nothing happened. Will wait and see what they can do in 2005.

I agree completely. They may not come into the game immediately, but they will have a good chasis and a package they can develope. Alot of teams will be shocked mid-season to find themselves inspecting the Toyota gearbox as it dances infront of them!! They have the resources to give Renault, Maclaren & Williams a nightmare if they get it right. They could just be the boys to knock ferrari off the top in a couple of years if they get the right team!! They have even more money than Ferrari!!!

There's no excuse this year, they've had 3 years in f1 now, and this year they have 2 top drivers (in my opinion, keep your pants on) and a designer who was behind the very fast 1999 Jordan, and the 2003-2004 Renault. And all the money in the world!! So if they don't move up this year, then they have failed in my view
