Alonso expects to dominate his team-mates and when he doesn't, he moans like crazy - eg 2007 and occasionally in 2005 when Fisichella decided to turn up which was sadly too rare. Most rate Alonso higher than Button but there's no way he'd dominate him and in a competitive car I reckon it'd be pretty even, just as it was between Button & Hamilton.

I'm not really making a clear point here but basically IMO if the car is improved & he isn't beating Button in the races, he's gona cry about it in public.

As for Renault I wouldn't have thought they could afford JB given that they've had to rely on another year of Maldonado sponsorship.

Renault are now a private company and they have to watch their budget for sure but the need a winner and someone who is ultra consistent. Grosjean jumped too soon IMO. If I were them, I'd sign Danny Ric sharpish OR........Alonso.
