motosport.com is reporting Marcus Ericsson is interested in Williams's seat. I am assuming his application is not based as much on personal performance, as most likely knowledge that his seat with Sauber is on the bubble. LeClerc is having promise of four trials in FP1 this season already, which is pretty much in line with past narrative and his slot is almost guaranteed for next season. Interesting gambit could develop if Kvyat gets a pink slip at TR this year. It would surprise me to see him sidelining LeClerc, but in crazy world anything can happen.
