Moderator Concerns

I recieved the following PM from a young member of the forum:

"today i recieved a pm that my warn levels are increased coz i retyped and posted a deleted post

firstly ,i never knew such a thing existed and secondly when i asked sato he said for explanations i should send a pm to admin .and he threatened that if i take up this issue again in the forums ,then my warn levels will increase and i shall be banned for a short while........this is a serious matter ,and i notice that u nowadays are not as vocal against mods ,so does that mean u also recieve warnings if u complain about deleted posts and mod atrocities,and is that the reason for ur studied shrewd silence nowadays.u even took a break from the forums for a month claiming that u were in africa ,do u really want me to believe that there was no internrt acces there......or was it because u were p**sed off by the mods,and lastky are the pm's also under the scrutiny of the mods..

coz i dont want increased warn levels......"

I am very concerned that the less significant members of the forum, such as the poor fellow quoted above, are coming under an excessive level of scrutiny from the over-zealous moderating team. In fact, it is not just that the moderators seem to be picking on the lesser members that concerns me, there has been a more general increase in the level of moderator activity (much of it misguided and disruptive to the forum) after a brief reduction following the show-down that took place while I was in Africa, a month ago. I do hope that the moderating team will be able to control themselves in the long term and not gradually ramp up their activities over time as they appear to be doing at the moment.
