Recommended Posts

Jenson nice solid 3rd this afternoon in provisional !!! He says that he and J.V. are getting along just fine thank you very much... :angry: It could make for an bonus to the dramas for the season because right now things are looking all shook-up with points going to drivers and teams that at the begining you just didn't expect to see :) Toyota ----what can you say but ......Buddddy THEY STINK they haven't a clue if I was them I'd be yanking those ads out of the F1 mags real fast........GO SCHUMI #6 awaits

:rolleyes::blink::unsure:

In JV's defense, there was an oil spill by HHF, which ruined the laps of many, Mark Webber included ... and I'm not saying that just to make an excuse ;)

I hope you are not making excuses as this circumstance has turned out to be the rule rather than the excption.

Friday qualifying decides little, except in Monaco! There you can notice the track get faster as rubber is laid down, so it'll be interesting to see what happens... I'm hoping Jenson goes as well Saturday as he did Thursday, but you never know what'll happen, as I predict a Coulthard pole!!

i don't think JV will be woried about his teamate beating him in the race...i don't think button will race 2morrw maybe never again :(

they are saying he is alright....

those comments i saw online whilst watching the results, made it sound worse then it was...idownloaded the clip of the crash didn't look heaps bad, look like when he went to brake it had a suspension failure or sumfin sent him into the wall

:rolleyes::blink::unsure:

Dave Richards has stated that JB might race tomorrow, Geoff Willis took rather quick steps to exonerate himself, you'd think he'd be more concerned about the driver :angry: , then again, he may have had access to information that we don't ....

Yea, the commentators here just mentioned that Button had an accident but that was it, I didn't hear more of it until I read the reports just now. Apparently he is alright, and he might still race depending on the doctors verdict tomorrow morning...

Still, a huge shame that he didn't partake in qualifying because he would probably have run very, very well!

Definitely a bad accident, I can't believe he made it out with so little injury! Did they figure out what caused the crash, I think David Richards mentioned something about the backend being very leery under braking...?

That is as much as I have heard. So I wouldn't have a clue.

Ironically Villeneuve went off in the same place in the race, albeit for completly different reasons.

Hahahha :D Jacques has made the comment that Jenson's crash might change him, you never know, but I still can't believe that suddenly they'd kiss and make up :D It's all a media ploy I tell you...

It may change him? how? by slowing him down so JV can beat him. Maybe that is what he means (hopes).

Yes, JV's latest salvo reeks of gamesmanship, he's trying to muck with JB's mind, doubt JB'll take the bait though. JV's been hopelessly outclassed this year by JB as far as qualifying goes, and race day has almost always been disastrous for him, ... :( If the situation doesn't change for the better, he really ought to retire, if only to preserve his father's good name !! :ph34r:

I guess, in the end, that's what it comes down to with Jacques - his surname - and he's not half the man his father was(well physically he's probably a bit more, but that's not a particularly difficult thing to do :) ); today's a bleak day for me, hard truths :D

Button will be back in the car for Canada, but I for one am hoping that Jacques can have a good result for once in his home race. His move to BAR probably wasn't the best in 1999, and he probably should have signed for Renault for 2002, but things go wrong. A good race is all he needs, and remember he is the only BAR driver to have reached the podium, doing so TWICE in 2001!
