pumpdoc 2 Report post Posted June 23, 2003 Well I've been poked proded inoctulated etc. and now it's only 2 more days till it's off to Nurmburgring to see the circus up close tue 6:00am San Diego to San Fran then to Wash DC -London -Germany Frankfurt then after the race it's off to see the wifes familie and do some sight seeing and I will rent a car that is cappable of at least 140-160mph so that if the Autobahn is clear I can clean out the pipes My lovely daughter Lisa may put in a word or two for me in my place you don't want to get in a argument with her on racing she is very outspoken, but she at least roots for the right team, Ferrari she likes RB. Kids you give them books send them to school kick them out of the house at 21 and they still tell you what to do 'cuz pops you just don't get it, something about age and stuff ohh well at least she's not married yet-no kids-good job-no drugs-and she's smart as a whip!!!! oops and she's a Black Belt in T kwan-DO but I couldn't tell you which displine I just know that a grommet tried to pull the old your not a local on her at her favorite surf break and cut her off on a good wave and dinged up her brand new board, so she paddled back out to the line up and proceded to kick his skinny butt all over the place (she's only 5'5" 115#) and make him pay to fixx her board 200$ and told him to watch out before he calls someone a inlander and claims "Locals Only" damn there I go off on tangent, see ya in 2 weeks!!!! What a week so far the 'Ring is surrounded by some lovly woods etc. I've already p**sed off my host,last thurs. HP and BMW /Williams had a little dinner/sponsor meet and greet and it was a little damp out , so I put on my jacket, Marlboro-McLaren, as we were waiting for the transportation the HP guy in charge took one look and said where is your formal Jacket that we gave you?? Well I'm not an HP employee so I didn't get one !! He said WHAT?? come with me, he took me to his room(I thought that he was going to put me in the corner) and pulls out a jacket shoves it at me and says" don't forget where this came from" (I think he wanted it back !) it is a nice jacket with the HP-BMW-Williams logos embroderd on it well they are gone and I still have it!! well you saw the race etc. all I can say is WOW quite diff. than F1 in the USA !! people were getting in fights over the JPM-MS shunt. Mon. took the 'tour' of the old 'Ring' oh yeay the driver was very famillar with the track,fast very fast cost 30 euros but worth it then after that went up to M&R S home town so to say Kerpen and checked out the Kart track etc. anything MS you want you can get there, just bring money, spent Tues. Weds. looking at all of the WWII sites, took a quick spin over to Belg. will be there for another day and then its off to see the wife's home town and relitives, the food is great,the beer is great and thick enuff to cut with a knife but still great. pumpdoc 2 Report post Posted July 11, 2003 It's good to be back in the USA-----I could write a book---but I won't short recap---Fri. at the Ring--got the ticket that got you everywhere but the garage-cool got to see some of the lesser stars but not for long or very close-what a ZOOO. Sat am breakfast w/HP-BMW-Williams-no drivers or FW,Patrick H. put in a quick Hello and hope you enjoy the day Mario T. was there and he and someother cat gushed over how much the HP support ment to them -then on to the days stuff Pract. qaul. F3000 race. that night a formal din-din dress in your best-I whipped out my fake Prada (1/3 the price looks the same) but the Mrs she went to 9's Baby Blue floor length backless slit up the side Versacce (I can't speel ) gown 1200$ worth yowzaaahhhh-shes 47 and still looks like she's 27 ,why she married me ?? anyway being German and all, but knowon nu there was some BMW wives off to the side talking in Gr. and being a little bit caty now like I said she was looking so fine and these wives just got a little bit to how shall we say snootie,well nothing was said by my wife at the time but when it was over and the BMW wives where saying good bys to the guest' as we aproached they said under their breath "You would think that she wouldn't be flaunting her body like that" (if ya got it flaunt it ) well she looked them in the eyes and said in perfect Gr. I'd be embaressed to if my husband could only afford to dress me in a burlap sack !! I don't think there jaws have gotten off the floor yet,and she did it with a smile !!! Sun morn. we were treated to a room serv. breckfast and flowers and apologies from BMW along with a BMR for the rest of our stay (they didn't know that was another 11/2 wks. but they didn't quible and with RS winning everyone was happy (not me) as I wrote earlyer went to see her fam.--------and the sights-----this past Sun. Uncle Johan took me to the 2:00am autobhan speed trials wow we went 275kph in his MB twin turbo, and saw some killer rides it was an exp.that I'm glad to have done. P.S. our wedding anvs. was on the 5th 30 yrs no one thought it would go past 2yrs topps so young stupid knocked up---when we got home our girls had a suprise for us first Mom got her "room" all fixed up painted, curtains,new sewing machine (it's got more buttons than a F1 steering wheel) tv ent. center carpet every thing. So then they took me down to my lair----sat me down and said well???? now I"m looking around and I see above the big screen what I thought was a in wall fish tank 'cuz I always said 'some day' wrong!!! 52" plasma HDTV wow! noWOOOOOWWW!!!! they worked out a deal with the Big SCreen place and got a deal on a repo ,smart girls .15 on the 1.00$ so the lesson here is raise em right don't whippem to bad and they will bring you much joy......
