Should have been 2nd, if not for the tyre giving way, DC seems to have taken away the luckiest man award for the day having 2nd given to him. It s almost amazing the things he seems to be able to get given when half the top of the feild is knocked out in the first corner. Or maybe I'm being a little harsh, it was 3:00 AM when I saw the spectacle.

I found Webber a little disappointing, he seemed to have so much potential at the start.

That is one thing about DC, he seems to be consistant in his inconsistancy (if that makes sense). What I mean is when the driver can make all the difference DC is usually nowhere, but when luck is required for a result DC is usually in the right place at the right time to capatilise on such situations. Uncanny really.

BS have three weeks of testing free development time to come up with somthing, doesn't look good for Hungary at least. Although MS's lead has only reduce by 1 in each of the last races 6 points - 4 races = 2 point DWC victory!

what was wrong with webber?.....he was going as fast as the others after his second stop.....

Maybe his tyres were crap before because he deffinatly had the pace to be a contender in the last stint.

LUCK  for DC  nah

Yes luck for DC, I feel half of his wins owe a good deal to luck (greater proportion than any other driver), despite his own claims he has never been dealt any amount of luck great or small. I think he has a selective memory.

;) Luck ?? oh ya he was lucky, back in the stone age

I had a teacher who whenever you got higher than

a B- on a paper as he would hand them back he'd

say your name eg: Pete B+ " A GIFT ! " thats what DC

got a gift!!! :huh::huh:

DC has had the career with teams many only dream they could sign with. But he still hasn't shown that he can put two victories together and make a REAL charge at the title!!!

IMO he never will, I'm hoping that whatever Mclaren announces at Hungary will leave DC out of the equation.

That is somting I had never noticed Jens thanks DC has never won back-to-back GP's. Yet his team mates have had nine win 'sequences'.

ummm so Mclaren dump D.C. and re-incarnate NIGEL !!!!!

Only joking, D.C. IS a good driver BUT he seems to lack the Killer instinct to be world champ and well I guess I cant blame him.... he has after all been paid "very well thankyou" over the last few years, if I was D.C. I would just keep taking the money while it lasts :D

on this DC stuff.....well DC has got nothing.....when he has a good race he can't string them together.........and he has pretty much been in a top car in his f1 career but et never really done much in the championship........one of the worst drivers out there really...wonder if alex yoong could have done what DC has.......

It has to be DC's last year in McLaren in 2004, but I will not hold my breath, because it should be it won't be. Every year from 99 on shold have been his last, yet hasn't.

2004 probably will be his last, what with the talk of Montoya and all.

Does anyone think that Montoya will go to McLaren?

Montoya....Can't picture him in a Mclaren really...doesn't fit there kinda driver...but strange things can happen and in formula one they usually do.
