No it will not be! (he say's with fingers crossed). As long as Schumacher finishes ahead of Raikkonen and close to, or ahead of, the Williams drivers.

why must it always be Raikonnen screwing up other teams?? ey Jens?? tell ur finnish boy to learn how to drive first!!! he took out shumi jnr!!! that spoils the Williams 1-2!! and they would have overtaken ferrari this weekend if it wasnt for raikonnen!!

currently JPM had set the fastest lap at 1:14:917

 Easy there Rohan, the blame goes to Ralfie

what I don't understand is why no red flag I mean come on 6

cars out before the first corner, should have been a restart

with backup cars  and then to have Schumi cut down

a tire w/5laps to go----a 6 point swing ouch he would have been

pretty safe w/a12 point lead now with just 6 he'll have to be tougher

on qualifing if he's to not make it a last race last lap for WDC,

oh well could have been worse ;);):rolleyes::rolleyes:

I thought there would be a restart as well, but I guess they didn't feel like doing one. Even Kimi was desperate for one...he was sprinting in the excruciating heat just so he could get into a spare car.

Good job by Toyota! Both Panis and Da Matta getting some valuable points for their quest to beat BAR.

The stewards obviously put the blame in Ralf's corner also, and have handed him a penalty of ten grid positions in Hungary. Williams are appealing.

Before I go on, let it be known that I agree, the Red flag appears (from what the TV screens showed on the circuit) to have been the only sensible decision. BUT I think in a way you guy's may be right but only partially so, it was after all the same circuit where 2 years ago Schumy was Burti's launch ramp and they got A LOT of greif for the decision to red flag when the only obstruction was debris. Maybe they didn't want to make the same mistake again. Just a thought.

well I seem to remember Martin saying that a RED flag would upset the TV broadcast Times ??????

So TV is more importantthen the RACE... beats me

That would be Bernie, and his love of money. I know I, and most purists and semi-purists would not mind the race running from 10-30 mins late.

 So what if MS wasn't in the pile up

you still had 2 German cars, and WDC contenders

punted off even if Ralfie was the instigator

in reading the F1 web site rules for a restart

this was a classic case !!!! Jens such anger

to Bridgestone-----not good !! can cause the

blood pressure to soar!!!! hehehehehehe........ <_<

If thats the reason for the race not being restarted....then thats pathetic. I mean wouldn't the race have been more exciting with Rubens, Kimi, and Ralf in it. Considering how they are just a hair away for the number one spot.

I totally agree with Nichos about most fans not caring whether the race started 20 minutes later. In the end it would have been far more exciting to watch.

Surely it would have made the last four races more exciting, from a championship point of view too, as all three of those drivers would have scored if they reached race end, (and MS wouldn't have).
