aussief1 4 Report post Posted January 16, 2009 telepathy i tell you, I wanted to mention the match, but did'nt want to "spoil" the nature of a thread in your honour.... It's a game Australia threw away Nathan, to be honest..... I agree 100% Brad, we seriously lack the killer blow these days. We have teams on the ropes and then we let them get back into the game with poor bowling. We are going to get a massive wake up call when we tour South Africa in March (i think). We have lost some greats and we now enter a rebuilding stage of sorts. However I believe we have no shortage of batsman its just that we are lacking in the quality bowling. We have Lee and Johnson but they cannot be asked to carry thye team especially in tests. They are strike bowlers not toilers. Needless to say we don't have half decent a spin bowler at the moment. Interesting times indeed. Next ODI on Sunday in Adelaide.
