Frank Williams interview in F1 Racing.

In the latest edition of F1 Racing mag, an interview with Sir Frank is published. As usual, he gave nothing away regarding the driver line up for next year...or did he?

Here's an excerpt, i'll explain the intriguing thing after it.

"Matt Bishop: We mentioned in FW fever factor, Webber, Jense, Fisi, Wurz, DC, Davidson, Dixon, Gene, Trulli, Heidfeld, Pizzonia, and Ralf, did we miss anybody out?

FW:Probably

MB: Who? Jacques?

FW: Look, I enjoyed your article - but you know very well that I can't enter into that sort of speculation. However, I suppose you could say there are chances, albeit in some cases, slim chances, of everyone you've mentioned being considered."

What makes me think something is definitely up is the way Sir Frank tried to brush off the question when MB named Jacques, sort of saying in a way, we've signed him up, but we're not gonna announce anything, that's the impression I got from FW's reaction. He said some in the list are slim chances. Something is definitely up if FW's reaction and response is anything to go by, very very interesting.

Why on earth would he let onto a journo now, when they stated that it will be august when they announce their drivers (in other words, when their drivers are free of thier current contracts they can announce them)

will do!! In all seriousness, didn't any of you spot the hesitation in FW when JV was mentioned? Almost as if he'd acknowledged that "crap, I've given him a clue", then he tired to backtrack on it. That dream may become reality, especially if FW and PH read what Ralf said!!
