Ok. My best friend comes around today. My best friend is a bloke. We've known each other since.. well birth as our mothers grew up together too. So, you can imagine we really are close best friends.

Anyhow he comes to tell me he's getting married, which I'm really happy for him. I think his girl is brilliant and we get on great. We went out on a girlie night yesterday, we shop together sometimes, etc. I digress.

Anyway. My best mate asked me to be his best man! I'm honoured. But can women do this? Is it legal? And once more if it is I'll need help with planning his stag night - yes I know strippers and all that but how do I do this?

It's not illegal and I have seen it done before so you'll be fine. Strippers are easy to find (apparently) or you could just be a truly excellent best man and be the stripper yourself. I used a company called http://www.chillisauce.co.uk/ to organise a stag, they were brill. Tell them your budget, the area and what you want to do, they will sort out the rest. Stephen (my mate) said no problem on budget but not to go too lavish. I was thinking about like a paint-ball thing in the day, followed by whatever blokes like to do on stag nights which is where I'm getting a bit out of my league. I've heard of Spearmint Rhino is that any good?

Don't know about Spearmint Rhino. I guess everyone is different and wants different things but this is what I organised; It was based down in Brighton. We all met up for beers on the friday night to get to know one another and establish a bit of banter. Nothing mad, just a few pubs, then back to our respective guest houses. On the saturday morning we did paintball which was geared very much towards a stag do as we all got chances to plaster the poor stag with lots of paint. Back to Brighton for a clean up and lunch. I dressed the stag up as a nurse and provided all the other lads with doctor uniforms (these are cheap and easy to get from on line fancy dress companies). We then hit the town and ended up in a club. We stayed the night in Brighton at the same place then headed home sunday.

The paintball, accomodation and club were all part of a package from Chillisauce. Including the outfits it cost approx
