You hate the name? It's great name with Native American roots (Sioux, I believe), but I hate to tell you this, you're pronouncing it wrong...should be 'Shy-an'.

My dear old mum would tell me tales of her youth in the 50's when she did the rodeo circuit and Cheyenne was a big part of that. It's still a cowboy Holy Site (not Red Neck....Cowboy...there's a difference). Be proud of that name, it's a good 'un!

I know thats the way its said. But blame my mum. Its her fault. She wont listen. I get the full name when I've p**sed her off. I guess, but have no idea why, Steph just stuck.

Funny to me when I get mail from official channels. Drivers license, passport, bank, all in Cheyenne. My brother Mikey was the only one who'd gotten away with calling me Cheyney. So I guess I do like it for that reason.
