BMW-Williams' probable new boy, Jenson Button, has vowed not to shy away from the challenge of '05 team-mate, Mark Webber.

Still scuffling with current team BAR, Jenson is nonetheless relishing the prospect of going head-to-head with the Australian.

''We are both looking forward to it,'' the 24-year-old said in a news conference staged in a plush London hotel earlier this week.

''(Mark) has had a good career, not only in F1 but in other formulas. He's a very serious guy -- very focused on the job.''

Button, still yet to claim a maiden F1 victory, said he would never cower from a contest by hiding behind a lesser team-mate.

''(Williams having) both of us ... is only going to help.''

He added: ''It'll help us, too -- we'll push each other very hard and that is also what the team wants. I know Mark pretty well.''

When JB raced a Renault, Webber was the test driver and Jenson said he had witnessed, first hand, Mark's notable fitness regime

there's lies, then there's statistics. Inspirational... Schumacher, ROFL, I've seen less of Sennas races than Ive seen of Michaels, and Im driven by Sennas wins, not Michaels. M$ is statistically the best, so what? Had Senna not died, then Michael wouldn't have all those statistics, and that's a fact!!

So what, maybe Schumi's stats might not be as high, but I'll put money on that Schumi still would have had his success from 2000 till now and that Senna and Schumi would be dueling it out in 1997. A whole load of things could happen, like the F399 being developed differently which would have not killed MS's season. We never know but we can say that MS was inspirational at times. 2003 Imola? Raced the day his mom died. Senna never did that. 1998 Hungary- 20 seconds in 20 laps. No one could have pulled that off, or had the physical reserves to do so. But, one thing we can both agree on is that Both careers (Senna and MS) overlap in at least two ways: Both got their names noticed with teams that were not at their best at their time, and both helped to make a team which had not seen success, see success.

So it's Ayrton's fault his mother didn't die when he was racing?? C'mon mate, geez. M$ killed his own season off in '99, he crashed!!! Agree with your last bit though. I suggest you read the book "The Life of Senna", then tell me Senna isn't inspirational, both on AND off the track!!

I haven't seen it on American shelves. Just remember one thing: Any event that happened in F1 past that could be undone would change up so many things in so many teams.
