THE OLD JV IS BACK!

Recommended Posts

this year?? 3 races for goodness sakes, its a win win for Sauber and JV as JV gets to race and acclimatise. He didnt test because of VISA probs, whilst yes he was brought in to score points, but its not as easy as putting JV in the car after a year out and him just bringing it into the points. The reasons why are well publicised and I won't go into them, but at least JV is willing to admit he hasnt done the job and simply got tired. JV outqualified Alonso by around half a sec on a heavier fuel load, plus a bad mistake at the last chicane. Jacques still has his pace over one lap, which is blistering, but his race pace will improve once he regains his fitness, and Sauber, Jacques himself, and F1 will be all the better for it in '05, when after a pre season of testing we'll get a TRUE indication of whether JV still has it or not, and I think, shock of all shocks, he still has what it takes.

;) Hey it wasn't I that was predicting points and fantastic results, I was the voice of reason and took heat because of it, if anything I'm owed big time! Not that I'd expect it.:blink::unsure:
