Oh god, brings me to an interesting joke:

A painter was cheap, he used a lot of thinner to get the most out of it. A church needed the roof painted and he offered the cheapest price. He got the offer and began to paint. he painted and painted and was almost done, when a torrential rain fell upon him. He asked God, "Why have you done this?" God replied, "Repaint, repaint, and thin no more."

A bit funny i think, and i hope he does do well after the DR thing. Our opinions can change, except for 2:

1. Senna thinks Ayrton Senna was the best.

2. Me thinking Michael Schumacher is the best.

Hell, give me that much at least...

back on topic, jv's done alright in quali. beaten his teammate! maybe it really is the jacques of old. lets see how he starts on a wet track. should be very interesting..

J.V. qualified abit higher than Alonso but ran 5 drivers later and yes ...again had more fuel on board.

I believe he should be running lighter to give him more speed because his pace in this tricky car to drive is not there yet. He had 14 -15 laps on board and would be higher up the grid with 10 laps worth on instead.

No wet running before this race with them Michelins make it a tad harder.

Webber had a faster lap than Alonso ...the Renault is not that fast ....but overall efficient.

it really makes me wonder just how serious renault are with jv. shouldn't he have been testing last week? i dont recall seeing him on the timesheets. it smacks of pure short-term flav-pr who time and again just wants to show who has the power. i mean this guy has had a year off and the only time he has had in the car is a 2-day shakedown at silverstone to see if he has 1 lap speed, and 2 race weekends (1 which consisted of only 2 sessions plus sunday). he looks absolutely ragged out on the track and its embarassing.

they should be doing everything they can to get him used to driving again..

The Interlagos circuit is mainly corners in the second sector, so JV should have it good. he was exhausted afterwards because of corner after corner of racing. Mika, please, if there is a God, come back to the team Jenson won't go to...

Well, as JV said his team took a stab in the dark with the setup, they got it wrong, he struggled with understeer throughout the race, and given such a short time in the car without any testing it is difficult. Common ,give him a break.
