RED BULL RACING LIVERY UNVEILED

Last Updated: Wednesday, 17, November, 2004, 14:13

This is how the new Red Bull Racing cars will look when they start testing later this month.

The Austrian energy drinks company completed their takeover of Jaguar on Monday and have wasted no time in stamping their identity on the team.

Next year's car, which was due to be designated the Jaguar R6, is instead likely to be called the RB1.

The livery, in the colours and design of a Red Bull drinks can, will adorn an R5 hybrid car fitted with a host of 2005 development parts.

However, the livery is likely to change again before the team lines up on the grid for the Australian Grand Prix next March.

That's because team principal Tony Purnell is hopeful of bringing in a number of smaller sponsors to supplement Red Bull.

He said: "It is true to say that we have had some interest from Chinese sponsors and over the coming months that will unveil itself to the public."

If they put some more blue, we could have some problems differencing them from Sauber.

True. But I liked the Jaguar green better. But you can never tell. They might look better on TV than the picture here.

Yeah its simple but a logical from the graphical design view, maybe they will have to change it a bit with the arriving of new sponsors

yeah I get it. I like the livery. Very simple and in the corporate colours. I don't expect a big chance in the race livery, just minor ones to accomodate minor sponsors.

if they do change it a bit its not going to be alot like some of you have said because if the car looks like the can people will be able to tell whick drink is red bull.
