Quiet One 15 Report post Posted March 20, 2012 http://www.shell.com/home/content/motorsport/ferrari/technical_partnership/fuel_blend_calculator/ Now that's so great!!!!!!!!!! I haven't had so much fun since the "Awkward Silence Simulator" came out! Go on, play it. It's like a clubbing night with Adrian Sutil and Kimi in a Briatore-owned Night club! (Actually, you might learn something in the meantime)

Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted March 20, 2012 That's an awful calculator, you can't spell boobies on it. No wonder Ferrari are in such trouble.
Guest Report post Posted March 20, 2012 I actually work for the said fuel supplier/partner.(unless my boss is reading, then I work for BP) In the UK at Thornton technology centre they used to develop the fuel for F1. Under fia rules "fuel testing" could be done on a test "strip" at the adjacent Stanlow refinery. subject to it only being in straight lines and NO aero or performance testing was allowed (cough cough) Most other teams use airports for this (menorca etc) There isn't actually a suitable straight strip at Stanlow refinery (as you can see on google maps) so it's no surprise Ferrari used to turn up with a massive team. Last year Stanlow refinery was sold to Essar and as such Ferrari do not have access to the endless fuel (cough cough) testing in this secure environment. make from that what you like.
