Boullier Praises Mclaren Duo

Recommended Posts

Can't figure out Boullier but, sure, there are certain expectations and McLaren is pssing them off. Don't forget which engine they had last year. It is easy to blame Honda (and most everyone is doing so implicitly).

Anyway, it is also hard to care. This is just another team at the back of the field, struggling to get midfield. What's the news there...

I think it's good to hear something positive while so many are writing them off. It would be hard for front running drivers to run at the back.

There is silliness about, for sure.

A friend was telling me yesterday how the TV commentators were gloating over Alonso's retirement until they started mopping around because of Button's.

I think alot of people dislike alonso due to his attitude, even I think he is a d1ck but his driving talent can't be held back due to him as a person. For pure pace IMO there is no one faster, next would be ricciardo, then Vettel and then Hamilton, reguardless weather I like them or not, there talent has to be looked at over personality as we don't know them.

I don't care for drivers' personalities either way.

As a racer, Alonso is fine. Nothing that great in my book, but better than the rest.

I think Brundle was forced to admit once, very reluctantly, that "this guy is always there" speaking of Alonso and meaning that the guy just doesn't give up.

I don't think Alonso is ALWAYS there but it is true that it is the driver that fights more than most. I appreciate that.

Having said that, this is one of his weak seasons (weak for him, I mean). There is nothing at stake and he's just cruising. I don't fvcking appreciate that.

I disagree, I Beleive he is doing the best with what he has. Canada prooved that as he was disagreeing with the pitwall and wanted the fuel to race.

He talked about "having fun".

He's not racing.

Well that is true but you know what I meant lol.

Boullier is the wrong person for McLaren. I've never felt it honestly he was the right guy. Whitmarsh was out of his depth in the end, but he was miles better than Boullier. McLaren have made alot of really stupid decisions these past years. Choosing Perez over Hulk. Brining in Mag, and then dumping him. This is not the monster McLaren we knew from old. And you can't blame Ron too much I feel. He's got enough of a track record to show he's more than capable. He may be in charge, but I also don't think he's got the powers he used to either. I get the strong feeling McLaren is being run by a board or committee and not gut instinct and know how which Ron has been good at in the past.

I hope for the sports sake they come good, but a part of me wants them to fail so badly that maybe that will cause a Sepp Blatter like implosion of F1.
