Remember when

Recommended Posts

The majority of folk talk about, when Mclaren WERE the best,
and how they have fallen.
The GREAT Mclaren,  with Ron Dennis at the helm - THEN powered by Mercedes.
Designed by Newey.
Ron & Newey could not agree, Ron said if U think U can do better,
off U go then, go and do it.  Which is how we got Red Bull Renault AND finger pointer - Vettel
But before that, Newey were at Williams - remember them - then with the all conquering
Williams Renault.
Currently Williams ARE powered by Mercedes - the all conquering Mercedes
Who is in a better position.
Williams with the BEST power unit or
McLaren with a respectable power unit after the dismal Honda project
Ended. McLaren ARE still ahead of the replacement works Honda - Torro Rosso

I look at it as TR being a Jr team of RB.

So McLaren should be competing / leveling with Ferrari, RB, Merc, not TR. At least for this year.

TR is mid-field chassis with rookie drivers....

Indeed TR IS the RB Jr. team.
Red Bull WANT Honda, after McLaren DUMPED them.
But instead of putting it directly in the RB, let it`s Jr. team take the heartache and poor performance
whilst Honda are developing it.
Then RB can have the glory without the pain

Indeed, EXACTLY it is soo obvious

Mclaren spent 3 years waiting, another 3 years waiting WILL see the regulations change AGAIN
Just as Honda, get a handle on it probably - it will CHANGE again !!
