Whilst Hamilton IS close, likely/on the path 2 breaking Schumies records - as the greatest F1 driver. 
Schmie`s records could NOT B compared to/against, historical greats such as Senna. 
Because U can NOT compare, different eras with different eras because it is NOT like 4 like.
The Mercedes IS the dominant care of THIS era, Ferrari R close - then it is JUST making up the numbers.
Renault (always strong, there-there about`s - reliable as always) and NOW with Honda, attempting to raise awareness of the brand
with Red Bull

Well, being the "greatest driver" is more than accruing statistics as a result of being with the right team at the right time. It is why Schumacher and Hamilton (and Vettel) have such impressive records. Now, I do consider that Hamilton is probably the best F1 driver since the days of Senna and Prost. I am not sure I rate him higher than Senna and Prost.
