Leclerc Speedin in Pit Lane

I thought that there were a switch/button that U press when enter the Pit Lane,
that STOPS the PU exceedin the Pit Lane Speed Limit.  Were that in the `90`s and got BANNED
as a driver aid?  
For modern F1, should have a traffic light system for the pit lane -  activate that entered the pit lane,
U reduce UR speed to below the Pit Lane limit - activates a green light, if the speed increases in the Pit Lane activates an amber light.
When close to or past the Pit Lane limit activates a red light
Visual aids work better.  The driver is still in control.

Ferrari pit crew are really coming across as clowns after all the goof up. They brought Leclerc in to help him get the fastest lap, which he could not, and ended up shooting themselves in the foot.

They have not done the right thing for quite some time now.. Even during the time for Vettel and Alonso they were really bad. It took the likes of Schumacher, Ross brown and Jean todt (all non-italians) to keep things on track.
