lipstick79 0 Report post Posted August 25 (edited) After the Dutch GP win 4 Lando and Mclaren. Back to the factory to try and close the gap further. In reality, what does this MEAN ? How can we get MORE lap time - Fundamentally this will MEAN - What can do 2 make it go QUICKER. Can`t change the PU - that IS down 2 Mercedes. All they CAN really do IS change the angle of the air flow AROUND the car. How DID the Mclaren BECOME, as many describe - like a rocket ship? Piotr 0 Report post Posted August 26 It's all about bending the rules. Red Bull bent the rules, was told to stop it, and they are not dominant any more. Same with Mclaren - they did something bending the rules. They probably got permission from FIA for now, BUT that can be withdrawn as other teams find out about it and complain. lipstick79 0 Report post Posted August 31 I AM thinkin realistically - it MUST B the braking system. Realistically 2 pedals - Go & Stop > The Go pedal can NOT B the decisive factor here. The Mercedes factory team is NOT like a rocket ship. Top speeds R NOT bein made through the speed traps. It HAS 2 B the stop pedal - breaking. In the 90`s with Mika Hakkinen - Mclaren HAD a THIRD pedal 4 braking. The front and rear brakes could B operated separately. But the FIA banned it, claiming it was 4 wheel drive functionality. Piotr 0 Report post Posted September 3 Possibly a valve automatically adjusting brake balance by a computer, rather than a driver?
