Your stats do not convince me at all. DC has great stats, do you think he's an amazing driver? Didn't think so! Like I say, my opinion will change if he beats Heidfeld. Until then, I'm afraid I still think he's over-rated. Sure he scored 17 points in 2003, but what if he had a team-mate like Fisichella (for example) who may have scored a lot more, we don't know if Webber is that good yet. First Aussie since D Brabham just shows that Aussies aren't great at f1, doesn't mean Webber is any good!!

So where's Alan Jones from?

I saw it on a documentary on TV!! Maybe they were just talking about a small part of Mexico, I did think it was a bit unbelievable

I have always learnt not to believe all that I read or hear from the media.

They only tell you what they want and what the government wants....To always show how they are governing us well and how other countries are s##t.

DON'T ALWAYS BELIEVE THE MEDIA!!

this really has gone way way off topic!!

Just on Aussie racers though, there are a few good young chargers who won't get into F1 cos of the politics and money involved. F1 is big amongst the fans here but not amongst the big companies. Fact of life is that drivers from here need money, tons of it to have a chance of getting through FFord, British F3 etc just to get a look at F1. Our companies don't support drivers, well most don't, thus it's hard for them to get a look in. There are drivers in Aust who are much better than alot of those who get in F1, but don't get in as they don't have the cash.

For a country our size we've done pretty well to have 2 world champions, one in a car of his own making, being Sir Jack Brabham who I've had the honour of meeting and having a quick chat. Great bloke!!
